A. We support both Windows and Mac operating systems.
Q. Will I loose any of my documents, pictures, photos or other data?
A. All data is backed up prior to any work commencing and restored on completion.

A. We service most areas of the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. Please see Locations for the list of locations we provide support to.
Q. What if my location isn't listed?
A. If your location is not listed, contact us and we may be able to arrange a call out to your location.

Q. If my problem isn't resolved will I still be charged?

Q. Will your technicians confuse me with geeky terminology?
A. No. All our technicians will provide explanations in simple English. We won’t confuse you with geeky and complex terminology. We can also explain complex issues, simply, no matter what level of computer skills and knowledge you may have.
Q. Do you also sell software?
A. Yes. We stock a range of software from operating systems to antivirus software to word processing programs.
Q. Do you sell genuine copies of Windows™?
A. All our software is legitimate. All software comes with genuine licence keys (if applicable). We do not sell any pirated material. This means that you will always have a genuine copy of Windows™ or valid licenced software.
Q. How long will I be without my computer if it needs repairing?
A. We will endeavour to return your computer within 1-2 days. However if there will be a delay, our staff will contact you and make an arrangement.
Q. Does it cost extra to visit my home or office?
A. No. We don’t believe in charging our customers extra to attend their homes or office. No need to pack up and carry your computer into a store and wait in long lines. Please see our Terms & Conditions.
Q. How will I be charged?
A. Depending on the problem. We diagnose problems and inform you on how much it will cost prior to work commencing. We generally work on an hourly basis.

Q. Do you provide support after hours?
A. Yes. We provide support after hours 7 days a week. Northern IT Support is perfect for customers who work full time and don’t have time to make it to a computer repairs store.
